Brock did a good job selling his services, then when it came time to list my property, he put in very little effort. I hired him because I liked his marketing plan and enthusiasm. He overpromised and under delivered. I asked him to give me a report on what marketing he had done and he couldn't even be bothered to meet in person. Even though he lives quite close to me, he wanted to do a zoom call. He also did not give me any links to the videos he said he posted or address my question about what marketing he had done. He didn't even hire a professional photographer. More than once, he said he would contact me by a certain time or day and then had a variety of excuses when I asked him why he did not communicate when he said he would. He terminated our contract when a house in my neighborhood sold for a lower price than I wanted to list. He just gave up on trying to sell the house. My current realtor is the total opposite....very professional, gorgeous photos and 360 video, clear marketing strategy with consistent reports and has been out to the house three times in less than two weeks...and she lives 45 minutes away. She also gave me concrete reasons as to why she thought the house should list at a certain price. My advice to Brock when we terminated was to pay attention to detail...he even gave a buyer's broker the wrong combination to the lockbox...work on his communication skills and get a new sign. He seems like a good guy; he just didn't put much effort into my listing. It seemed like an afterthought in his day.
